A registered nurse will visit your facility to administer Influenza immunizations to anyone who wishes to participate. The cost is $20 per shot. The company or individuals may pay by cash or check. There is only minimum participation of 10 people generally, for a nurse to visit your location.

Influenza is caused by a virus that spreads from one infected person to another by nose or throat.

Anyone can get influenza. Influenza causes an average of 36,000 deaths each year in the U.S.
Who should get the Influenza Vaccine?
All High-Risk Persons, anyone who does not want to get the flu, and school-aged children. High-Risk Persons are:

Anyone 2 - 64 years old with a chronic medical condition such as
heart disease, lung disease( especially asthmatics), diabetes or an
immunosuppressive disorder.

Pregnant Women or women who will be pregnant
during flu season.

All children 6 - 23 months. (The Shot Nurse does not give
anyone under 5 years old flu vaccine. Childhood immunizations and
flu shots should be given by their pediatrician).

Anyone 65 years or older.
